Mike Shimer
Mayor of City of Robinson
Mike was raised in Robinson, having been born in Indiana. He is a lifelong resident of Crawford County. Mike graduated from Robinson High School, received an Associates Degree from Lincoln Trail college and a BA from Eastern Illinois University. He is serving as Mayor of Robinson and has served as the Parks and Recreation Supervisor for 45 years, also serving as Zoning Administrator, and the Enterprise Zone Administrator. Mike likes to be involved in community projects which support the growth of our area. At this time he is a board member of the United Way and serves as the board chairman for the Fest-of-Ale.
